In the digital industry almost twice as many men are employed as women. However, RMA bucks the trend with women making up 50% of its permanent workforce. At RMA and our parent organisation NTT DATA we place great importance on the value of diversity.
Today, we are supporting International Women’s Day to help forge a better working world – a more inclusive, gender equal world. We are joining the #BeBoldForChange campaign by recognising and celebrating the achievements of the women in our office. Here are some of those women who make a great contribution to our company’s success.
Abi Sambells, Production Designer
Abi designs for a variety of projects, from event invites and pitch presentations, through to an investor platform for a global bank and transactional interface for a large media company. When she’s not designing she’s struggling to pick a Disney playlist for the RMA daily disco.
Barbara Schiavinato, Creative Technologist
Barbara is responsible for writing front-end code that makes the Track Payments website for a global bank, accessible to employees with disabilities. Away from coding she is either playing with her house-full of connected devices or her make-up collection.
Becky Smith, Marketing Manager
Becky published 5 RMA blogs, posted 9 LinkedIn updates and tweeted 57 tweets in the last month to increase RMA website visitors by 98% on the previous period. When she’s not at work she’s busy looking after her 2-year-old twins.
Fan Lin, UX Designer
Fan recently joined RMA to help a large media company create a customer-serving online experience. When she’s not busy improving human lives, she’s helping out her local feral cats by providing regular food, shelter and cuddles on demand.
Fiona Pinner, Senior Project Manager
Fiona has managed many of our key case study projects over the years and headed up the project management practise before taking a domestic break. She currently looks after the projects for one of our expanding accounts. When not at work she is mostly obsessed with making jam (she takes requests).
Inna Boyd, Office Manager
Inna is responsible for the wellbeing of over 100 colleagues in three different offices and believes that organisation and teamwork lay the foundation for creating a successful and positive office environment. Away from the office Inna is busy planning an international wedding.
Kirsty Weston, VP, Client Services
Kirsty has been responsible for building the commercial team and transforming client accounts at RMA over the last two years, resulting in 100% growth of RMA. When not in work, Kirsty used to go globetrotting or scuba diving, but now she entertains a toddler.
Maya Schulz, Client Services Director
Maya recently won an NTT DATA Award for managing and growing a global finance account by 400%. RMA is now the agency of choice for one of the largest digital transformation projects in the UK. Outside of work you will find Maya stood at a canvas with a paintbrush in hand.
Mei Tan, User Experience Designer
Mei has been redesigning and improving the UX for a global bank’s central permissioning system for over 160 of their services in order to reduce support calls and costs. Meanwhile she’s growing a baby… as she is 6 months pregnant!
Myriam Wiesenfeld, User Experience Designer
Myriam has been doing UX design for large international communication corporations and a global banking transactional platform – making her users happier and more involved. All the while, she’s developing her art and cultivating her cheerfulness.
At RMA, we believe that building an inclusive and diverse workplace is essential to our success. We have active forums by our employees:
