Global IT innovator expands UK and international consultancy services with sophisticated user experience design capabilities
London, UK, October 10, 2012 – NTT DATA EMEA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTT DATA corporation, the global IT innovator, has reached an agreement to acquire 100% of privately-held Inventif RMA Holdings (RMA Consulting). RMA Consulting Ltd will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTT DATA EMEA. RMA Consulting brings specialist user experience and design consultancy skills to NTT DATA, which complement its existing range of business and IT consultancy services. Clients will benefit from bespoke technology application design that focuses on the user experience design to help users master the complexity of their business, leverage big data and improve business decision-making. RMA focuses on the design and delivery of business solutions to help experts in business sectors such as healthcare, finance and public sector. As part of NTT DATA, RMA will be able to extend its offerings through the use of NTT DATA’s on- and off-shore expertise for the architectural design, application development and support services required to deliver such solutions.
The combined offering enables NTT DATA and RMA to offer a unique ability within the market, where a single provider offers the depth of experience in designingsolutions alongside the ability to provide the development expertise to realise these designs cost effectively. The NTT DATA group will benefit from the knowledge and expertise of RMA’s 80-strong workforce to further enhance its value proposition and extend its reach in the UK and EMEA markets. RMA’s two managing directors, Peter Lelliott and Chris Boulter, will remain in the company and take on expanded roles across the enterprise and financial services divisions within the NTT DATA UK and EMEA business.
