It’s always nice to get a pat on your back for good work. It’s even nicer if the pat on the back comes from Steve Mitchener, NTT DATA’s CEO UK.
We were really proud to see two of our designers Rory Watts and Abi Sambells win a Silver and Bronze Award respectively at the recent NTT DATA (RMA’s parent company) Town Hall meeting in London.
NTT DATA’s Reward and Recognition Programme celebrates the valuable contributions of all employees across the UK ‒ from daily achievements that delivers greater value to the implementation of ground-breaking innovation.
Silver Award Winner – Rory Watts
Rory, one of our Senior Interaction Designers, was given a Silver Award, which rewards significant contributions to the company or client for his work with a global bank.
He’s helping the client to redesign the experience of applying for a credit card online from anywhere in the world – adjusting to the unique cultures and complex tech-stacks in each territory.
Most recently he’s been lucky enough to work with the client in Hong Kong, where he’s helped introduce the concept of UX design and the agile way of working to the team. His next trip is to Canada, where he’ll be embedding his user-first design approach amongst the IT staff.
“Rory has been working in a new team with one of RMA’s premier clients, and has stood out a mile. He has brought best practice design thinking and process to this new team.”
Nice work Rory!
Bronze Award Winner – Abi Sambells
Abi’s only been at RMA for six months as a Production Designer, so it’s a fantastic achievement for her to be given a Bronze Award for her commitment and contribution beyond the call of duty.
“Abi was recruited to work as an internal resource creating creative artefacts for both RMA and NTT DATA Digital, this she did wonderfully. She has now been parachuted into a customer situation where she is excelling.”
Congrats Abi – keep up the good work.
